Shaun practiced family law for over ten years but got tired of, as she said, "getting paid to fight over pets and plates". Fully embracing the mantra that you "create the life you want" Shaun dived deep into several entrepreneurial pursuits including creating "That's What I'm Saying!" the podcast to give a voice to what she believed was the often ignored black woman's perspective. Shaun is committed to bringing her brand of "ratchet-wokeness" to the masses and is ecstatic about working with her sister, Shatara on That's What I'm Saying! podcast (TWISPOD) as well as the TV Show on IslandTV.
Shatara has unwrapped her gift of comedy and is sharing it with the world. Doing stand up comedy for over ten years now, Shatara has performed at some of world's top comedy clubs in New York, L.A. and abroad. Her animated story telling style is unique and conversational. Shatara has been featured in the award -winning independent film “Gold Digger Killer, on Aspire’s “We got Next”, and has performed at The World Famous Apollo Theatre, as well as appearances on Fox TV's, Dr. Oz, MSNBC “The Grio” and TruTv’s Laff Mobb’s Laff Tracks.
In addition to working on taping her upcoming documentary and one-woman show special, Shatara is pleased to join That's What I'm Saying! (TWIS) podcast and TV Show.
